OrionX Bookings vs Fresha

Fresha lists its core plan as free and charges for things around it, including a one-time fee when a new client finds you through its marketplace. OrionX Bookings has no marketplace, so a new client never costs you a cut of their first visit.

You want clients to book on a page that carries your brand, not a marketplace listing

Square's free plan covers one location with no staff limit, which is hard to beat on price, and it suits businesses already taking payments through Square. OrionX Bookings is for businesses that want their system set up for them and an Australian team to call.

Is OrionX Bookings cheaper than Timely?+

For a team of two to five staff, yes. Timely's Build plan is A$42 per staff member a month plus GST (A$46.20 including GST), so two staff cost A$92.40 and five cost A$231.00. OrionX Bookings is A$65 a month including GST for up to five staff. For one staff member, Timely Build costs less. Prices checked 17 October 2026.

Is there a Fresha alternative without new client fees?+

OrionX Bookings does not run a marketplace and charges no fee on new clients. Clients book through your own booking page, website or social links, and you pay the monthly price plus any extra SMS.

Can you move our data from Timely, Fresha or Square?+

Yes. Founding businesses get hands-on setup and an agreed import of services, staff and available client data, which we review with you before launch. Sadaf Skin Care moved from Timely with 116 treatments migrated.

Does OrionX Bookings take deposits?+

Not yet. Deposits and prepayments will use each business's own connected payment account. If you need deposits today, Timely and Square's Plus and Premium plans offer them.
